Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions apply to the Control Logic Studio website, user accounts, and the browser-based Control Logic Studio services made available through it, including the simulator and Cause and Effect Generator. By using the website, creating an account, or using the software, you agree to these terms.
Use of the website and software
You may use the website and software for lawful business, engineering, training, review, and evaluation purposes. You must not misuse the service, interfere with its operation, attempt to gain unauthorised access, copy or resell access without permission, or use the service in a way that could damage the platform or other users.
Accounts and security
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity carried out under your account. You must provide accurate account information and keep your email address current so that verification, service, and recovery messages can reach you.
Acceptable use
You must not use Control Logic Studio to upload unlawful material, attempt to reverse engineer protected services, disrupt availability, bypass entitlement controls, or present generated outputs as independently verified engineering approval when they have not been properly checked.
Subscriptions and access terms
Where paid subscriptions, Pro access, trials, or other commercial access are offered, pricing and the included features are those shown at the point of purchase or account setup. Subscription access may renew automatically where stated, and access may be limited, downgraded, or suspended if payment fails, a trial expires, or the service is otherwise ended in line with these terms.
Refund terms
Unless otherwise required by law or agreed in writing, subscription and access fees are non-refundable once the relevant billing period has started. If Control Logic Studio agrees to provide a refund, credit, or account adjustment, that will be handled at its discretion and only for the affected access period.
Intellectual property
Control Logic Studio, its software, branding, written content, interface design, exports, documentation format, and related materials remain the intellectual property of Control Logic Studio unless explicitly stated otherwise. Using the service does not transfer ownership of the software or platform materials to you.
Engineering disclaimer
Control Logic Studio has been developed to provide a high quality and accurate simulation environment for control logic design, testing, and training purposes.
Whilst every effort is made to ensure the reliability and correctness of the software, no software can be guaranteed to be entirely free from defects or unforeseen errors.
Users remain responsible for independently reviewing, testing, and validating any logic, calculations, or outputs produced by the software prior to implementation in operational systems.
Control Logic Studio should support, not replace, competent engineering judgement and established verification procedures.
No warranty
The website, software, and outputs are provided on an as-is and as-available basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Control Logic Studio disclaims warranties, representations, and guarantees of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted availability, or error-free operation.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Control Logic Studio will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or business-interruption losses, or for any loss of profit, revenue, opportunity, data, or reputation arising out of or connected with use of the website, software, exports, or generated outputs. Total liability for any claim relating to the paid service will be limited to the amount paid for the specific access period directly giving rise to the claim.
Service changes and suspension
Control Logic Studio may update, improve, suspend, or withdraw features, plans, or parts of the service where reasonably necessary for product development, maintenance, legal compliance, security, or commercial operation.
